Udon is a type of traditional Japanese noodle. The only ingredients are water, salt, and flour - there are no other additives needed. We will make Udon from scratch together without using any type of noodle-forming machine. Making your own noodles is much easier and faster than you may think. After we finish making our Udon, we will then make gyusara, which is beef simmered with onion, using Japanese seasoning. In this lesson, you will learn how to create rich flavors through simmering.
