Various kind of shamisen music were born in the Edo period by a shamisen that made by changing the shape of a stringed instrument from China to Jpan.Shamisen, a Japanese traditional instrument with history of over 400 years .In this facililty you can enjoy the sounds of many shamisen. This is an old Japanese house that is nearly 100 years old.this house has a holl with a tea room and "TOKONOMA" and a shoji screen.there is always a "KAKEJIKU"(hanging scroll ) and "SAMURAI" doll. You normally kneel directly on the tatami, but chairs can also be provided for the lesson.
