Mold clamping, resin pressure, fluidity ... learn while simulating mold molding

We have been telling you about a plastic molding molding experience using transparent dies several times in a row! Mr. Tsushima has been tackling various challenges this year besides this plastic course. While we are currently talking about it, we can't tell you the details yet, but this year's Tsushima seems to be creating many new initiatives, such as further strengthening cooperation with the Chinese factory and molding with biodegradable resin. is. You can feel the momentum from the new year! I've been bothering Tsushima-san this month, but this time I was able to talk to a craftsman who actually made the transparent mold that I told you until last time. A craftsman who manages all facilities of Tsushima. -What was your impression of making this “transparent mold” this time…? "It was incredibly troublesome! Lol It is quite difficult for a person who is shaving iron in the manufacture of molds to sharpen acrylics ... It's the same mold that we usually make. You may think that you do the same, but different materials have different processing conditions, such as the diameter of the blade, the rotation speed of the blade, and the speed at which the blade moves, And the conditions are different for acrylics. ”-Are there any difficulties unique to transparent molds used as teaching materials? "Even if I cut it in the same way as iron, the surface was not clean and I had a hard time. In usual mold manufacturing, there are cases where it is not necessary to stick to the surface cleanness depending on the place that does not touch the product There is, however, because transparent molds are sold because you can see the state of molding from the outside, so I used more nerves than usual to finish so as not to scratch one. ”-How about actually molding with a transparent mold? Did you? "I found it very interesting as a teaching material. We know what is happening even if it is not transparent because we know about molding, but when we explain it to people, we show it with words and numbers There are also scenes where it is necessary to make fine adjustments as expected due to slight differences in the processing environment, even though it should work in theory at the actual site. Because there are many cases, seeing the molding with this transparent mold actually makes it a little easier to understand the mold molding, and I would be happy if I could make it useful for the work of the people involved in the mold. The transparent mold completed after the trial and error of the craftsman can now be seen at Tsushima's office. The course will be released in March, but if you are interested, please contact us. Thank you again, Tsushima! !
